How can you do really well in the HSC even if you go to a not so good school? (1 Viewer)

I know that your HSC atar is greatly affected by how the rest of your school cohort perform but is it possible to not be affected by them? So like what would be the ideal rankings to come and how would you have to perform?

basically you'll have to rank 1st in everything

Rank 1st means your assessment mark is always the highest exam mark, so if you get the highest for every HSC exam with 1st in every exam then you won't be affected. The reason a good rank in a good school helps is that people can get high exam marks to boost your assessment mark.
