Hey everyone, just a quick question ...

I am going overseas, and am taking a laptop, i want to be able to use the internet at my uncle's house, from his PC (not wireless internet), how can i connect my laptop to his internet connection?

With a normal LAN network cable, with a crosswire cable, or will i need to bring a hub and power supply aswell?

Cheers

like how the whole setup is...

if it's a broadband connection to a router, it's most likely you just need a network cable

if where you're going overseas - the IT hardware is 'cheaper than in Australia' than you can ask us when you're over there :)\

most important thing would be to bring a convertor for your laptop AC power :)

Just get USB cable and use the MS internet sharing wizard...
Althought I have never tried it.
