How accurate are SAM/UMAX? (1 Viewer)

Now that we all know our results and are punching them into those 2 ATAR/UAI predictors, how accurate can we expect them to be? Will they definitely be within 1 mark of being true? 2 marks? Do they usually underestimate or overestimate?

SAM gave me an ATAR of 95.00
same as UMAX


and a 2007 estimate was an ATAR of 95.20

Actually no it doesnt. If you talked to a english teach you would have easily found out that Adv english marks are always taken over you're Ex1 + Ex2 marks no matter how good they are.

Yeah cause 95.20 is just shocking, terrible. Have you're cake and eat it (I've always wanted to say that! And now probably my 2nd last visit here I could!)

2u subjects put your alligned mark on the first column

- Eng adv : 95 / X / X

1u subject put your alligned mark on the third column

-SoR 1 : x / x / 46

i have a question in regards to the matrix calculator. I do 2u and 3u maths. For 3u maths, do i enter out of 50 or out of 100?

percentile is your position in course against other students
eg. if your percentile was 70 then you came top 30% in that course

Type in 43 for JUAI, Einstein and Sam. Use 86 for Matrix.

Same problem! I saw a huge difference on umax when i typed EE1 and EE2 out of 50 my atar went from 97.4 (/50) to 98.95 (/100), however i reckon u gotta enter them /100 cos SAM gave me 98.75 which is much closer to the 98.95, plus it makes me feel better that i just missed out on a 99+ lol
