Okay so I have the results for my first assessments. Each had a weighting of 10%.
RANKS ARE
english adv- 85/160
business - 30/59
ipt - 5/39
biology - 37/64
maths - 72/90
eco - 23/31 (dropping)
maths ext 1 - 55/60

realistically, is it possible for me to attain a uai of 93+ still?
The problem with the first assessments were that i didnt take them too seriously and didnt study as much as i could have. ive learnt my lesson now, but what do you guys think. 93 + , still in reach?

Of course man! Just improve on your ranks. Which school do you go to?

90ish. If you maintain those ranks around the whole year, you need to rape (and I mean RAPE) the external HSC.

Girraween is quite a good school.

To firmly entrench yourself within the mid-90s UAI range, lift your ranks and I'm sure you're going to do fine.

Considering you're at a selective I reckon most of your ranks are fine. Maybe improve maths a bit.

what ranks do you think i will need if i wanted a 90+ uai.

for my externals, i estimate around 85 for all with the exception of english which i rekon i'll get 80ish.

Try aim for around 2 or 3 band sixes for your subjects for a 93UAI.

I'm actually in the same boat as he is with the exceptions being I don't do economics and I attend Hurlstone. Would the same go for me? I don't know my ranks as I haven't got them back yet, but I estimate them to be the same.

IMO aim for the 90's with the externals, and just try hard on all assessments from here out, and you should be ok.

Yes, lameass. You have only completed 10/200 marks in each course!
