I don't ever recall asserting the existence of a universal gay lifestyle lead by all people who experience homosexual lust.

Homosexuality would represent one aspect of their various lifestyle choices, which collectively could be referred to as their lifestyle. As chosing to smoke or chosing not to drink alcohol might represent two others (seperate lifestyle choices).
just like height and eye colour then :haha:

I wouldn't say someones height is their lifestyle choice, however apsects of their physical appearence/presentation ofc couse be a result of their lifestyle choices.

EDIT: for example, if you ate nothing but junk food (lifestyle choice) then you might become fat and unhealthy (physical appearance) etc.

Yes, but the umpteenth time, Homosexuality is not a life style choice, it is a natural occurrence.

And if you believe in god, it's also a natural occurrence he created, as he is supposed to have created everything.

I feel like I am talking to a wall.

The desire to have sex with someone on the same gender as you, is not entirely the individuals choice. (In this regard homosexuality is not a choice).

Consumating whatever desires you may have (be they homosexual or heterosexual or something else entirely) is always the choice of the individual. (In this regard homosexual sex is a choice).

Personal responsibility demands that a person admit to having control over their own actions. I had sex with x person because I chose to (unless of course you were raped, in which case, you did not make a choice which you need to take responsibility for).

Just please don't tell me you are one of those 'train the gay out' people, or one of those people that feel that gay people should never act on how they feel and just hide it, because that is seriously not cool. That's like, really really really bad.

God is spelt with a capital G, this is starting to frustrate me.

God did not create evil, He created man, man created evil through being tempted into sin; the transgression of God's moral laws and/or the rebellion against God.

This is what I argue about.

That means that said homosexual is forever sworn to a life of abstenence. A life without intimate relationship. A life without attraction or love.

That is inhumane. Tell me that you'd enjoy a life like this.

So you, and your crack pot religious ruling are stopping homosexuals from marrying because they are having consensual sex with one another, even if you dont own the title of "Marriage". Seriously, read what you are typing, its discrimination to the max.

What if a transexual was to have sex with a consenting adult and decides to marry that person? Will you refuse them the title, the final proof of their love?

Your "God" to us is just one of many. Therefore, the lowercase is appropriate.

If somone chooses to be homosexual, I wouldn't prevent them from doing so.

If someone chooses to have sex outside of marriage, I wouldn't prevent them from doing so.

I believe both of them are wrong, and so I personally won't be indulging in either (and advocate others to do likewise), but I am not going to force my beliefs on another person.

Doesn't mean I won't express my opinion or anything (and adivse agaisnt it), but I'm not going to get involved in what is really their personal life. Answer your question?

I do not acknowledge his existence, therefore there is no reason for it to be capitalised.

Also, why would he allow us to be tempted by sin, surely he would have the foreseen it and taken adequate measures to prevent it.

Well i am sorry, but do have respect for other people. We dont offend you by devaluing something you really appreciate, so please so some curtosy.

And he didnt foresee it and prevent it through Christ. Obviously His death, was used to pay for sin.

Now, if you want me to explain the specifics, i cannot do so. His workinings, I cannot comprehend.

Oh you are funny.

How can anyone enjoy a life without sex, oh the agony! It just doesn't bear thinking about.

How can one love another without having sex with them, its like totally not possible... Riiight...

It is hardly inhumane. I am not forcing anyone to do anything. Faith is a choice, and by extension, abstenence is a choice.

If a person who feels homosexual urges rightly accepts that having homosexual sex is a sin, and chooses to serve God rather than themselves, they will happily live a life of abstenence by their own choice. They should be praised and supported for their devotion and sacrifice.

Get some self control, there is more to life than sex buddy.

Like the right of people to be on the same footing as others? The right of gay people to be treated the same as straight, and be afforded the same rights?

I just can't believe people still have views like this. That a gay person should never get to act on how they feel. It is so scary that this is how you feel. Its just plain bigotry and discrimination. I bet if you told your parents about your views on gay people they would freak out.
