i hate being classfied as an adult at the newcastle regional library - i have $12 in library fines... $9 comes from 3 books i never read nor do i want.

if ur considered a child overdue fines and hold fees are free

if ur an adult - age of 17 - its 30c per day the library is open for overdues and $1 per book u order from another library.

it should be free if ur a full time student in highschool

Hahaha uni library fees are soooo much worse :| i had $30 worth of fines for return 3 books 2 days late arghh gayness

i had a fine for a local library, but it was on my brothers card...so i told him not to pay, and if he wanted to borrow something to use my card

its a rip off!!!!

haha i had 2 books late back at unsw library, and i still havent paid them yet
i dont think il ever will either

I had to pay the $30 before i could borrow anymore since then they introduced this rule that allows you to pay part of the payment rather than the whole amount!! GRRR trust that happened after i paid the full fine

I just use my youngers brothers card so no fines, and returns books as late as I please.
