I'll be the one to start the 'ok, I'm sick of semester already' thread, considering we're only four horrible weeks of term away from a vacation.

Mostly, I'm looking forward to getting rid of this law business and moving onto more favourable subjects.

However, I have a bunch of other things to do these hols:
1. read seven (so far) books,
2. capitalise on the spare time to get some shifts at Coles,
3. make a website,
4. record this song I'm working on,
5. sell my old-man car and buy an appropriately small, economical, foreign build,
6. spend hours on the computer mindlessly playing games,
7. watch the rest of Battlestar Gallactica,
8. winter school at USyd - Arabic, Hebrew, something else? Who knows...
9. catch up on about fifty films,
10. change my computer case, which is far too neo-hippie for my taste,
11. mindless wandering / shopping in Hornsby, Macquarie, Chatswood, and, especially, the city,
12. meeting up with friends,
13. clean my study - see the desk thread,
14. organise the official bos Macquarie Uni meet to date.

Thoughts?

Ahh, blessed holidays.

I need to:

a) Get around to seeing the physio (my neck isn't happy)
b) Shop more in Chatswood (Hornsby is boring, don't go there Rob!)
c) Have a girl's night in (manicures ahoy!)
d) Help my mum out with Ryde Eisteddfod Canteen (should be fun)
e) Get my butt to either SDC or the new Mango Dance Studio to find a replacement for my annual ego-buster (yes, the word is ego-BUSTER. I intentionally get this done so I don't get complacent )
f) Find music and choreograph routines for my kids to do (they should be up to their second routine by then)
g) Start doing yoga or pilates again (need to keep limber in the cold winter months)
h) Attend the official BOS MQ meetup that Rob is going to organise!

PS: i) I won't be working because my job follows the school term, and thus it is physically impossible to work during my holidays. What a shame!

i have a list of things to do before holidays start, one of which is to work out (i.e. make a list of) what i have to do during the holidays

The only good thing about Hornsby is the Borders there is much better than Macquarie. Other than that, I don't know why I put it first.

I'm too tired to be impatient. But if I was more active, then I'd be throwing myself at whatever time wall there is avaliable in order to make holidays come around sooner.

I'm looking forward to paying my dad back the few grand I owe him for our car... umm... sleeping in more than 2 days per week.... reading books... watching movies.... having fun! Catching up with non-uni friends (who I miss sooo much!)... no assessments....and sex!
