If anyone wants to give this a stab..I go to a private school (oh no, i hear you people say..)

Please note that our school will NOT give us our rankings but we can roughly figure it out.....with glee...

English Adv.: 85% 14/70
English Ext1: 84% 14/45
English Ext2: 85% 14/24
Maths Ext1: 85% 8/47
Maths Ext2: 65% 5/13
Economics: 91% 6/61
Chemistry: 72% 10/19

I figured that if I studied a bit harder, I could improve my maths and chemistry..but the others i dont know..

so..if someone would like a try..please do...but i cringe at the result....yikes!

If you get band 6's in the HSC, then definitely 97+

-Those are very strong assessment marks
-Although your ranks wouldnt be especially good in another school, by the looks of your marks your school is very competitive
-All your subjects are scaled well/very well
-Chemistry may bring you down a little, so just go band 6 for the actual exam and you're set

You could be looking at anything from 95 to 99, depending on your exam performance

hmmm...would it be possible to hit 98+???? say 98.5 or thereabouts???

that would help..mid 90's sounds so disconcerting...for me, anyway...

98+ isn't out of your reach but you have to do very well in the HSC exam..

Usually when people say "Band 6" they mean overall.

hahah fuck off band 6 in all subjects! hahaha

band 6 in two subjects + mid to high band 5 in rest will get you 96-8

dude 4 english, and 4 maths? chem and eco? good ranked school and great marks?

if those marks aint scaled

98+ for fucking sure, and if you dont slack off on any exams, 99+ is achievable

With those marks, you should expect to get a really high UAI. Put all your effort into these last important 30 days of your life to good use and reap in the rewards :)

I agree with Jesh to an extent

The HSC exams, u'll find, are much easier than trials and everything, partly due to the fact u have more than 1 month to study for them. If u get predominately Band 6's, 99 is achievable
I assume u want to do Actuarial Studies?

the chances of me doin actuarial studies is like george bush admitting that he had done the wrong by goin 2 war.....its fairly out of the question...considerin i hav already done my preferences....hehehe....

there are only 2 things i want to really really really learn:
1. how to value a business
2. how to think about stock market prices....

they are the two major ingredients to my success...

indeed, there is a possibility that he mite admit wrongness but then again....he's fighting daddy's little war, right?

i dont wanna get political here...its far from the aim of this message board, eh?

i want good advice not political propaganda...if u want that, read noam chomsky (i like him) or michael moore...

till then, more USEFUL advice...takers anyone???
