Dance music otherwise called EDM (electronic dance music) encompasses ALL genres of electronic music. Trance is a form of dance music yes.

Food for thought: happy hardcore originated through old school breaks and not 'trance' so calling it happy hardcore trance is incredibly stupid. Not only that, 'melodic trance' is not a genre.

Oh and about the hardstyle thing, hardstyle died 3 years ago when Headhunterz started producing. It's become so devilishly formulatic and boring it borderlines the absurd with being completely the opposite to waht the name implies, 'hard'. If you want real 'hard' EDM than i'd suggest Schranz or Hardcore (gabber), because hardstyle is simply weak kicks that are suddenly interrupted by the most god awful sample in the break and then hands in the air *I want to be headhunterz* melody possible.

If you want female vocal's in trance then get Oceanlab - Sirens of the Sea album NOW. I don't care what lengths you have to go to, but do whatever you can to get it. Also, Ronski Speed - Pure Devotion album haven't heard it but whatever, it's a ton of vocal tracks.
DJ Shah tracks use female vocals a lot, and I think he has an album out now (songbook or something).
