Bit of an insult to the markers. You're basically saying "I don't think you can read, so let me point it out for you."

Plus, why would you want to hurt their eyes with the bright colours?

People who highlight, highlight the questions, not their own answers.. right?

And markers don't even read the questions cos they know them so well from marking so many.

I only highlighted in some papers, I can't remember which, I didn't use it excessively but I did a bit. Did a fair amount of it in the History/Geography one.

At least they'll think that you were serious about doing well.
