Hi, I'm in year 11 and my current subjects are: extension 1 maths, advanced English, chemistry, biology, business studies and photography) so 12 units.
I'm planning on dropping photography at the end of this year. I'm fine with English but I find Shakespeare a little hard to understand. I'm also not too great with 3u maths.
I'm scared that if I don't do well in 3u and adv eng my ATAR will be dragged down. I hope to get into International Commerce or something like that (which has a cut off Atar at 97-98)
Should I be trying harder in order to achieve higher marks in maths and English, Or should I drop down to 2u maths and standard eng? Would I still be able to get a high Atar? Would dropping make it easier or harder to achieve a high Atar?
Thanks!
