I just wanted to know how much the HSC exams are worth in comparison to the trials and all the other exams/ work done in year 12.

^Your internal assessments=50% and the HSC mark=50%

keep in mind the internal assessment is moderated and based on ranks/relative gaps though

i think that hsc is worth 50 percent. Then ur trials and assessments are all added up then halfed to make up for the other 50 percent? i think lol

Anyway, the HSC exam is the most important "assessment" that will determine your final exam. Since your HSC Mark is the average of your Exam Mark and your Assessment Mark - where the Exam Mark is purely the HSC test at the end of the year. In turn, this means that your HSC exam is worth exactly 50% and the other 50% is divided between your Trial, Half-Year and all other assessments in school.

Simply, your HSC exam mark is worth 50% of your HSC mark and your moderated internal mark is worth 50% of your HSC mark.

Remember that your internal marks are moderated/aligned according to your cohort's HSC performance.
