For my first IPT assessment task I need to;
Prepare a system design for a new system. This must include incorporation of client names and addresses, product lines and pricing, invoicing and distribution into a relational database and produce data dictionaries for each file at this point.
Design and implement the information system. Consider hardware/software procedures and participants.
The summary of the existing system is
Customer Orders --------Order Placed By Receptionist----------Order written on order pad----------a) order goes to accounts department (white copy) b)order goes to warehousing department (pink copy) c)order goes to delivery department (yellow copy)----------delivery to client yellow copy of order given.
I'm completly lost with this, i haven't got a clue how to do these two points of the assignment, if somebody could explain to me how to do it i would be extremely thankful.
