Hi,
I'm doing my english assessment and what we have to do is create like a portfolio kind of thing with three relate texts to 'as you like it'.
Was wondering if you could help me with what some of the things that we have to include mean, because im soo confused.
Ok so the one that im confused about are:
*The context of the text
* The langauge features and structures of the text
* How medium of production affects response (wtf?)
Also if anyone has any ideas on how i could approach these ones:
* how has the text enhanced your understanding of belonging

im so confused so any help would be great
thanks in advance
cassie.

context
Its set in the elizabethan era where people had strong morals, opinions etc. Where women were not allowed to act etc etc.
medium of production..
how it being a play lets the audience SEE it rather than read it etc. The Rosalind gender changing becomes more interesting when the audience actually watch it.
They see the role of a Rosalind being played by a man pretending to be a woman pretending to be a man.
Understanding of belonging

Like what do you think about belonging after you read this text.
e.g. belonging is important, as it gives the characters security in belonging to a particular place (forest or court) etc etc
