a simple solution is to get AVG its free

EDIT: if u have heaps of time on ur hand write down the exe name, kill the process in task manager, and search you computer for it and delete it.

This should be your last resort.

Do not just reformat your computer.

Just download AVG delete. Also download, adware, spybot and Windows Defender.

Run all those, restart and it should be sweet.

Okay.
This is a direct link for you to download them and install.

AVG
http://free.grisoft.com/doc/2/

Spybot.
http://www.safer-networking.org/en/index.html

Adware
http://www.adwarealert.com/index.php?hop=advanced99&p=3&gid=1072645447&oid=&aid=&gclid=cpl789-z35icfrpoagodhefp-a

Windows Defender.
http://www.microsoft.com/athome/security/spyware/software/default.mspx

Download and install them seperate.
One of them should work.

I would advise you to update every one of them. As it will help it to find your virus.

Well, if you know which processes are the source of the virus, just google the name.

Of course, you can run an anti-virus proggie and see if it works. There are specific guides to removing certain types of viruses though.

Safe mode - http://www.computerhope.com/issues/chsafe.htm
AVG - Links above

Learn to have a virus scanner and a firewall, there are plenty of shareware and cracked firewalls around. Don't download heaps of shit (that is not from a good site) off the internet, and dont accept attachments on msn etc.

tbh i thinkyou deserve to have your comp reformatted.

normally, safe mode, safe mode with networking, <something else>, then last known configeration" - just use the arrow keys to select "safe mode" then press enter.

spybot says spybot has detected an important registry entry that has been changed
category :browser change etc etc and then accept or deny change at the bottom
??

i have no important files as i just got my comp back from being fixed from Harvey Norman and they completely cleaned it out

adware costs money to delete the virus files ??!

according to it i have 200+ bad files including backdoors, trojans and worms
so is it a good idea to put credit card details and register and adware ??

Go to 'techsupportguy' --> go to their virus forum/s and post there.
the ppl there will ask u to dl 'Hijackthis', run it and post the results, from there they will help you solve whatever problems u have
