My assesment is due in a couple of days and i have tried this using the t method, auxilary angle and a method our teacher showed me and i still can't find the 'exact' solution.

Find the exact solution for sin4t + √3cos4t = 0 for t (0≤tπ)

Please Help.
I wil be eternaly grateful

equating coefficients

where n is an integer
4t = (pi x n) - pi/3
t = pi/4 x n - pi/12

t = pi/6, 5pi/12, 2pi/3, 11pi/12

Why is r = sqrt of 2?

I found r to be 2 using pythagoras and 1 and root 3

r=2, 90% just made a small error. Cazic's solution is spot on. Usually a 3U question and would use the transformation method though. Usually lead into it with a) and b) style scaffold
