Hi, i need som help solving the following equation:
"(x2-4)/(x-1) is greater than 0"
Do I multiply the x-1 across to make (x2-4) greater than x-1 ??
I tried this and made the quadratic equation x2-x-3 greater than 0 but I cant factorise this. What am i doing wrong??
Also, how would this equation be drawn on a number line, thanks.
