Help... how to do well in Music 1 (HSC) (1 Viewer)

I don't know how I can get really high marks in music 1. it is not my strongest subject and i know it doesn't scale very well.

Does anyone have tips? The help is really appreciated

Know your 6 concepts - that's pretty much all I can say to help.

Music 1 really isn't too difficult if you know your 6 musical concepts very clearly. (pitch, duration, structure, texture, tone colour, expressive techniques)
However, actually knowing what's inside these broad concepts will take a bit of time.

A HSC 2010 Music 1 student came for help from me 3 weeks before his exam. We managed to cram in 90% of the content within 3 weeks. Though that was very rushed. But they only ever exam you on 4 to 5 concepts anyway.
