Yo could someone please give me a few points on the env impacts for both? all i know is that they have minimal impact but if we get a long response that's obviously not enough lmao thankss

lel is it even possible to get a long response on this shit, i hope not
button cell has no environmental prblems. Dry cells when disposed of in abundance can cause leakage of Zn2+ ions into the environment which can end up in water ways increasing concentration of ions
pretty much it lmao. Maybe taking up landfill space? Idk

Nah its a weakly acidic electrolyte, won't do much harm

Button cell KOH is able to corrode organic material tho

Zinc can become a problem if it is disposed in high quantities in the environment, so if large amounts of batteries are thrown away in one area you can say something there.
