Hey guys, how would i do this question using the 3 force rule?
I can do it through calculating the moments analytically but not too sure how to do it using the above rule. If anyone can help out, I'd appreciate it.

The question is: "A mass M is supported at C to produce a force of 10kN at A. Determine the mass M and the magnitude and direction of the force at B using the 3 force rule."

It is a question from Rochford's Student Workbook for Engineering Studies (stage 6) and the answer comes out to be 10.77kN at 22 degrees up to the right. Photo on 11-04-2016 at 2.26 pm.jpg

Thanks.
