Have you decided?

Have you decided on who you are voting for in the election? Do you now the candidates in your electorate? Do you know your electorate?

I have decided how I will be voting in my electorate of Werriwa.

1 Bargshoon, S (Independent)
2 Medway, M (Liberal)
3 Briscour-Hough, P (Democrats)
4 Head, M (Independent)
5 Raue, B (Greens)
6 Latham, M (ALP) :)
7 Doggett, C (Hanson)

It was a difficult decision in choosing who to put last. Both One Nation and Mark Latham are equally quilty of promoting hate in our community. Independent Sam Bargshoon is from an ethnic background and encouraging people to put Latham last. It is extremely difficult to decide who would do a worser job as MP. In any case, the seat will likely be a contest between Latham, Medway and Bargshoon.

I am still trying to decide what order to place the 79 NSW senate candidates in as I will be voting below the line!

The Liberal and National Party's have published how-to-vote lists on their websites:

http://www.nationals.org.au/howtovote.asp
http://www.liberal.org.au/default.cfm?action=how_to_vote

For a complete list of candidates see here:

Nah, both my parents don't really care. I read the newspapers though and a lot of other crap on the internet so I've formed my own views.

Yeah, I thought of doing that. Simply because I want to put ALP Man John Faulkner first.

me too! :D

yeah...i think my political views extend from those of my parents...I think it's quite hard to escape 18 years of influence, unless u consciously are trying to be a rebel...I do try to gain my own opinions though from newspapers (though I can't stand the bias at times)

2nd safest liberal seat in Australia behind bradfield
At it's present 2PP margin, it is the 11th safest coalition seat in Australia. Bradfield is the third safest. Two other Sydney seats of Mackellar and Mitchell are slightly ahead of it and then there are several rural seats and a couple of seats on the Gold Coast.

oh ok ...seems pretty safe...where can i see the stats?
ABC election analyst Antony Green has a good website with loads of election statistics it includes a pendulum. The website "mumble" also has some good stuff as does political scientist Malcolm Mackerras' site.

Labor for the House of Representatives and then the Democrats for the Senate.
