I have always liked English, but this year i just can’t stand it. My teacher hardly teaches us anything because she is “preparing us for UNI.” We mainly get group tasks to do and then get yelled at or a ‘disappointment speech’ because they were not up to her standards. She has not used the blackboard once. Is everyone else’s teacher doing the same thing? Or are you having any problems?

Nope, my teacher is great.

We discuss and then she writes notes on the board for us to copy. We send her in our drafts/ask her advice about our essays/stories and she's happy to help us. I'm having no problems at all with mine :)

Good luck with your teacher....

Don't worry. Just perfect your essays on your own - use past high grade essays to point you in the right direction.

My options:
For Exploring Connections (Module A) i am doing "Pride and Prejudice" and "Letters to Alice".
For the Critical Study (Module B) i did poems by Gwen Harwood.
For the Conflicting Perspectives (Module C) i'll be doing "Wag the Dog".

My AOS is based on "As You Like it" - Shakespeare.
