I know that a lot of schools have only began there half yearlies but some have completed them in the last two weeks and are currently getting there results back.

oh yeah i know there is a thread for 2nd assessment tasks but i wanted to make a thread purely for half yearlies if thats cool..

So post your results back as you get them back!!




My Results: Although not so great
Not so happy with them but yeah you get that

Business services: 81% = 1st/14
Business Studies: 74% = 7th/46
General Math:
English: 60% < SHAMEFUL
Legal Studies: 44% = 8th < Real bad

mine are next week, and im so nervous.

not as nervous as i am for my viva voce tomorrow :| gl though D:

half yearlies (rough estimates based on test+ranking/how much tests were worth)

modern- ~91% top5
ancient- ~93% top3
histext- ~90% top2 (doesn't count past half yearly report)
maths- ~71% top30
english- ~80% top4 (top mark is ~83ish, have our last assesment task tomorrow)
engext1- speech is next tuesday

marks are kinda low but happy with ranks~

We had ours two weeks ago:

Ext 1 maths: 76% - 6th
Ext 2 maths: 80% - 3rd
Physics: 84% - 3rd
Chemistry: 94% - 1st
English 68.5% - no idea the rank, prob pretty avg tho.

All up im happy.

finished my exams..

legal- 80, 3rd
modern-76, 4th
ancient-66, 3rd
eng adv- 93.5- 1st
eng ext- 84- 3rd

bio- 66 but yea im not that dissapointed because its my extra units, PLUS i went from a 22percent in prelim to this and i didnt even study.

my tips to all you guys, study hard man, DONT LEAVE THE LAST CHAPTER TO 2AM LOL LIKE I DID AHAHAH

Business studies- 89% 1st
PE- 83% 1st
Ext 2 Maths- 51% 1st
English advanced- 83% 3rd
Ext Maths- still waiting....confident of 85-90+

math:72.5% (3rd)
business:63% (equal 5th)
CFS:29%....i hate this subject!
Art:45% (4th)

pretty dissapointed in my art exam, i usually get 90%+!

biology -90 (second, but first overall)
Physics -80 (second)
Chem -80 (second )
English -23/30 (shit ranking)
maths (u2) -shit, really really hard test, only one person doing 2 unit alone past, but my ranking overall is still third
maths (3u) -even shitter, the exam was ten times harder than hsc exam, ranking is pretty shit but top 10.

Adv Eng- Dont know yet

2u Maths- 100% (obviously wont count-10 units) equal 1st

3u Maths- 93% - 6th (cumulative rank)

4u Maths-71% - 6th

Physics -86% 3rd

Biology- 48/50 96% Equal first (cumulative)- Note :Test had a very dodgy sex-linkage q

Overall im satisfied, at least i havent done too much damage to anything

obviously you didnt work enough on taht math test, or, you had a bad day or several circumstances contributed. dont worry, its just one assessment, just keep going.
And Well done, your other marks look pretty good, considering how hard our half yearlys were, id say urs were pretty hard too.

btw, werent u meant to do earth hour at 8pm?

ah, ive done terrible in most things.

society & culture= 65%
bio = 68%
english adv (it was a speech) = 67%
general maths = 91% i think possibly 4th / around 16
now just waiting for jap.
didnt have a pdh exam

I did alright with the ones I have back.

Chemistry 87% Ranked second.
Legal Studies 90% Ranked first.

I am angry, I lost most of my marks on multiple choice, I only lost a handfull in the written responses. Anyone else?
