Erm i got medium brownish hair and i wanna put some streaks thru it, i used a blonde colour one b4 which was good aloooooonggg time ago, but i cant remeber what it iwas.

I get onea my girlfriends to put that cap thingy on and pull my hair thru..

so what colour and brand u think would look good on my hair...?

or could i use like straight out bleech or sumthing on it?

yeah go blonde.

natstar, essentially all the blonde streaks in the hair is bleach, its just controlled more.

blonde is good for summer, but if its brown go dark blonde or caramel.

i meant the full bleach look, using actual bleach.

full bleach looks bad often, but the bleach that you use in ur hair to lighten it is the same bleach as you put on ur floors. and loreal and all those brands use the exact same bleach. thats why it smells so rank. its stripping all the colour out of ur hair like it takes the stains out of clothes.

yeah so i wanna go that kinda light streaks, i suppose it is a caramel...

so u think lorel is the brand to go? is there any particular type i should be looking out for cause ive used a blonde dye before and it wasnt good... ik!

or the one in the presttiest packet.
or the one with the prettiest model on the box.
or one that other people recommend.
and yes, loreal is pretty good.

eh..... if i wanna do blonde streaks r there ne rules about dye in dark hair, like shud i do sumthing 1st so it doesnt do a whack colour?

I used to have streaks in my hair.. the hairdresser used to do it for about $80 a visit. but i got over paying that so now my hair is all one colour again. I hear some of the more expensive hair care packs in supermarkets ($20ish) are just as good.

the apricot smell is masking the acrid bleach smell. trust me. the thing that lightens your hair is bleach, whatever else is put with it. ive been dying my hair blonde for ages.

first of all, if you are putting floor bleach on ur head, you are an idiot.

if it is hair dye, then you may not have had it on for a long enough time. i know that at the hairdresser theyll leave it on for about 20 mins, and by that time it starts to smell exactly like someone is cleaning the floors...it really depends on how light you want ur hair to go.

if you are asian or have coarse hair, you prob need to leave it on longer, but have a good hard think about dying ur hair blonde if ur asian because it will most probably look shit.

my recommondation: go to the salon. it may be expensive, but there is a reason for that. they know what they are doing. you could go to a salon training or school and get it done cheaper.
