Holy crap that's expensive. What the hell did my $604 go towards? Anything I can actually use without having to pay another large amount for?

I can get a 13 month gym membership close to home for $600. Without paying SU Sport fees.

I was going to join a Fitness First last year sometime as they had a deal of I think $30/month saving $10/month or something, it's close to $50/month at USYD.

And here I thought I could waste some time between classes at the gym.

Go to Victoria Park if it needs be, just couple minutes away from the main uni place.

Student membership for gym & pool is $253 for 6 months.

I used to just have a multi pass for the pool only $68 for 30 entries.

Apparently tennis court hire includes pool entry. If that's the case, some of my friends are thinking about hiring a court for an hour of tennis ($2 each with 4 people), and then going for a swim afterwards, which would be cheaper than pool alone.

i might just get an 'arena' 10 visits pass if im gonna take a look at boxing. If not, i'll probably just use a local gym, much cheaper.

Does anyone know if the cricket nets are just free to use by anyone or do you have to book them or what not?

also ive heard that their are a few gyms at syd uni
does a membership get me entry into all the pools/gyms in the uni (if i buy a double membership)

Is there much different between the victoria park gym and the sydney uni one?
