Harwood, can get really confusing. We have to do an assignment with only a week of studying the texts. Context can also be how it affects. The Social context, a female's context, When where, Cultural. Things like that. The Context in which something was written.

With Gwen we have been told that our inital thoughts will be used somewhere. So don't forget those. Even if they are wrong they are important

in realtion to that post on feminism and different readings and examples of them, the gun is one, but its not just the gun, it is the fact that the child took the gun/power, (even though not specified, the child could be argued to be a girl) (due to similar links with other poems of hers) therefore if this is so, there is great potential for a feminist reading as it conveys meaning of a woman striving to gain power in a male dominated world.
