Graphing Parabolas (1 Viewer)

Hello All.

Q. Sketch the graph of each parabola showing any intercepts, the axis of symmetry and vertex.
a) y = 1 + 4x - x^2
b) y = 3x^2 + 2x - 8

I'm not sure about how to work out the x intercepts....

Could someone please help me?

so a) x = -0.236, 4.326 then y = 1
b) x = -2, 4/3 then y = -8
