Hi Guys :)
Could someone please explain to me how would I do this question:
Capture.PNG
And if I am unable to solve it graphically, would I be able to solve it algebraically instead?
Please Help!
Thanks :)

Draw out y = sinx from x = -pi to x = 2pi

Draw out y = x from x=-pi to x = 2pi

(a)u just look at the graphs from x = 0 to x = 2pi and count how many intersections
(b)u just look at the graphs from x = -pi to x = pi and count how many interections

Inersections means roots

and u cannot solve sinx = x/2 algebraically

Okays cool thanks :)
But what if I were to find the points of intersection?
How would I double check my answers if I can't solve it algebraically as wells?

U wont have to solve these types of equations algebraically :)

Usually the only way to check these types of questions is to do them again (by accurately sketching the 2 graphs again - not too accurate)
