where can you sit for stat exam? can u do it after yr 12?

There are many locations, dates and times where you can sit stat. You just need to pick up a UAC book, and fill out the required forms and register yourself for STAT, it should cost you bout the 120ish mark. Once your registered, UAC will send you a letter to confirm your date as well as materials to prepare you somewhat.Quynh nhu said:

They're already admitted into the course (bar previous point) and it's not like there's a set limit for people in science to do med.

yeah if u ever sit near ppl from a grad medicine course u realise some have BA/BSc or other bachelors.. but the impressive thing is that u find a few are PhD holders.. and its very daunting since they use to be the lecture in said topic lolz..

I'm not entirely sure but taking a guess, grad med would be doing medicine after you've completed a degree in something first and getting into it throgh GAMSAT etc.
post-grad med would be any further studies undertaken (specialising etc) after completing ur MBBS.

I was speaking to a friend yesterday and he told me that in Graduate Medicine you can't get any of ur previous studies credited. For example that would mean if I majored in Physiology and then decided I wanted to do Med i'd have to do physiology subjects again??

Medicine is a highly integrated course and as such no credit will be given to previous studies, no matter how closely matching.
If you're doing grad med, you probably wouldn't do that much physiology anyway. Ditto for anatomy.
