how about Carl Barron? he's a classic. and go out and buy his DVDs (hey the guy deserves something for what he does). at the moment he has two DVDs out, seen the first one, hilarious. although i haven't seen the 2nd yet.

billy connolly is the king......
robin williams live on broadway is fantastic.
russell peters is a slice of fried gold.

and so many others that i only get to see on the comedy channel (thank god for the comedy channel..)

i remember watching one episode of last comic standing, everyone thought they were funnier then dat pham. when it came to the 1-on-1 challenge, he eventually won.

damn i never got to finish that series.

Robin Williams is pretty good, but not as good as Billy Connolly Best of. Which is just amazing, and it's pretty long too.

Interesting. No women have been mentioned yet. Genuine question: are there any female comedians who are actually funny? I've yet to find one.

Download the Just For Laughs festival from this year or last year. There are sure to be a few people you'll like, then go after their individual stuff.

As for women.. Rosanne Barr wasn't bad in her pre-Rosanne days. Joan Rivers was also rather good I think.

Am I the only person who doesn't like American Comedy? :(
Well I am a big supporter of Australian comedians. Have you seen Standup Australia? Search for it on youtube, they have local and international comedians. Charlie Pickering is one of my favs <3
