hey guys,

there is something on TV tommorow that I want to record and keep forever so I've decided to buy a DVD recorder

could people give me some input into what things to look for and what to avoid in terms of featured and such? I'm looking for something basic that does the basics and is cheap

also, what's the cheapest I could get a hard disk recorder and how easy is it to transfer stuff I record from the hard disk recorder to my computer?
