When you compete tooth-to-nail with the top guy/girl in class and you beat him/her when it's supposed to be the other way around it's quite entertaining. :D
this is true, pity we have no top studentns at our school.

Also, a lot of people think getting a band 6 is getting >90 in the externals. Not true. 2 unit maths for example, you don't need a 90 to get a band 6 at all.

Sorry mate but I agree with her.

Solid study will get you a 90+, mastering your content will lead to 95+. Getting to the 98+ requires some form of natural intelligence.
isnt the state average like 66 or so??

N/A
getting a 90 UAI means beating 9/10ths of the whole state
i agree that is it possible to get 90+, any UAI is possible
but for the MAJORITY of people, 90 is way above their expectations
so i believe that achieving 90 is not easy for the majority of people, even if they did study hardcore
but if anyone thinks that getting 90 is easy then well done to you for believing in yourself so much

read back a few posts, its negatively skewed
and the average is 66% as someone said which goes against to be in the 90uai range you have to be in the top 10% people
