not when they're totally obsessed and have muscle humps everywhere.
Agreed.
Toned is good to a point, but when the muscles start to buldge.. time to get out.

Aheheheh no. It's so funny, at my gym there predominately too varieties: middle-aged women with flabby bits and 16 year old girls who are straight up and down.
You say straight up and down like its an insult :p
I never go to the gym, but I've played touch 3 times a week for the last 11 years, so I'm pretty toned, like, everywhere. My ex was always cranky that i had a flat tummy and he had a gut, but i've never thought of it as a turn off for guys. My sisters have curves, and i've always been a tad jealous, coz i'm pretty bony (you cant rest your head on my shoulder if you enjoy being comfortable).. tis such a common misconception that if someone's skinny, they don't eat enough and always work out though, cause thats not always true, and im proof.

im like that... i eat more than most people i know, i ride my mountian bike a bit... but i have never been to a gym. But still i stay skinny. I actually tried to put on a few kilos by doing nothing but eat for a couple of weeks... it had the reverse effect - made me lighter and feel pretty shit.

kinda off topic a bit, i know, but most things are anyway :p

Ahahahah My shoulder is pretty comfortable to lean on I think, judging from how often my friends use it as a head pillow.

I didn't mean it as an insult! I'm just saying that half the population at my gym are 16 year old girls who should not be sweating away on the x-trainer losing curves they have yet to develop! I'm all for keeping fit, but these girls are obsessed with keeping as thin as possible without toppling over (although some are very close to doing that!) and then wonder why they don't fill up an A-bra. The idea is just to be healthy and strong despite your body shape. Building up ultra massive muscles or treadmilling yourself into oblivion is just unnatural, not to mention very unattractive.

Metabolism that goes like a Zurtek can be tiresome, especially if you want to gain weight. Don't worry though, once we start pushing 25-30 we'll all of a sudden get fat and wrinkly codger skin.
see.. for me i have been like this all my life... when i was like in primary i was told 'by the time you finish high school you'll fill out.' T'was not to be... and now i get told the same, but added another 6-7 years... i figure that its gonna take a lifestyle change to change me... which is way too much effort. And i like my lifestyle...

You're right. Its sad to see the obsession with skinnyness. Its really overrated, especially when people sacrifice health for looks.

p.s. nothing wrong with not being able to fill up an a-bra :p just means you can go without ;)

I love my mussels! =) Mussel + Lemon/Peper/Salt = Orgasmic!!

Nah, well, I'm pretty sure most would agree that toned is good, but bulging muscles can be a little bit over the top...

Meh... I show off my muscles all the time *flexs biceps* har har har xD not really.. But the thing is, my legs are pretty muscley... Arghh, they are disgusting! If I could get rid of it, I would! But, then again, I need them to play sport.. =(

So there is a battle between playing sports, or looking good.. =(

From a tomboys perspective

Well, would it be a turn off she could carry heavy boxes and stuff like most guys, but the musle wasn't really noticable (cause she doesn't work out).

I'm able to carry the heavy boxes like all the guys at youth, but they get suprised cause the muscle isn't that noticable. Lol.

So is non visible muscle a turn off to a guy, if it means the girl doesn't need them for everything?

Toned is good as is sufficient muscle to not be completely useless at carrying things. Obviously (just as with men) excess is bad.

My preference is to toned and defined legs particularly (not a leg fetish though), flat stomach, toned arms.

as long as all the curves are in the right places theres no problem :p

i dont think many would care if a girl was strong but it didnt show... i mean how would they really find out anyway??
