from what I can see of the servings it is only two pancakes

and either way you could exercise afterwards if you really do feel guilty about it

or perhaps just not eat the pancakes - there are other choices on the menu I believe
you should see the toppings they put on them @_@ cream... CREAM @_@ and ice cream and chocolate or sauces and stuff.. even though theres only 2 pancakes the servings still look pretty big, and everything else on their menu looks like a pretty big serving too @_@
yay me.. probably gonna have to exercise and kill myself afterwards.

dis be a bad week for me....i have to go visit family friends tomorrow...which means being forced to eat food...thursday I'm going to that restaurant, friday is my mums bday...oh deary me.. D; i guess ill just have to starve myself every other day :|

yeah, I can understand what you mean from the toppings, it does seem rather superfluous. I tend to avoid having cream as an extra if possible

I didn't even finish my second pancake :/ anyway, i've been super bad these holidays and have not kept to my healthy eating habits because...THERES EASTER EGGS!!!! D;
must get back to my routine ASAP!! X(

another thing, did anyone mention drinking a lot of water?
Apparently, drinking a lot of water can aid weight loss. People say that much of the time, when we are hungry we are actually thirsty. So next time you are hungry, drink a glass of water and wait about 10 minutes. Chances are after those 10 minutes you won't be hungry anymore as it was probably your body confusing hunger with thirst.
we apparently need to drink quite a lot of water to be healthy. My chiropractor said I should drink at least 2L of water daily and that was when I was like 14.
If you drink water throughout the day and before meals you will end up eating less and that will help to lose fat.
Plus, drinking water is good for you, so drinking a lot of water will help keep your body functioning as best as it can and also clear it of toxins and waste. Apparently it helps your metabolism too? Idk.

Just make sure you eat less calories than your body burns. Doesn't even need exercise to lose weight.
gee, it's almost as if the foods you eat and the physical activity you do affect things like metabolism, energy and appetite

You can't spot target fat. To lose belly fat you have to lower body fat. Count your macros, do HIIT, you could try intermittent fasting but might be hard if you go to uni and don't have breaks to eat.

Didn't say it doesn't.
The point is that losing weight can be achieved by simply eating less. Things like exercise and physical activity do assist in the process but the diet is the most important thing when it comes to losing/gaining weight.

I'm pretty sure SylviaB implied sarcasm there.

Watch this and you'll be motivated enough to run for a good 10km.

Lol i already watched this haha!

Guys thanks for the replies. I also wanna bulk up. So what I'm thinking of doing is going gym to weight train early in the mornings @ 5am when I wake up. That way as I train, my body will use the stored fat reserves for energy and hopefully as a result I'll lose belly fat along the way. Watcha guys think?

For some reason there is a massive myth out there that the main way to lose fat is by exercising.
But the real way is food. The equation for fat loss is 30% exercise and 70% what you eat.
I highly recommend following the Bodytrim lifestyle designed by Geoff Jowett as it brings results.
Eat frequently with 3 litres of water a day and 30 minutes exercise and it will fall off.

You have gotten the myth wrong.

The thing is that if you do heaps of exercise (so use heaps of energy) but eat heaps (so eat up heaps of energy which is equivalent to your exercise or more), then you won't lose fat as it just gets stored rather than burned off (law of conservation of energy lol).

So it is indeed how much you eat, what you eat, and exercise as a combo.

But relying solely on exercise will get you nowhere as I learned the hard way for a few years. You should fix up your eating habits to be successful with losing fat.

Source:

Just came out of losing 10 kgs.

Lost about 2-3 kgs in year 10 by doing more exercise then than I do now because I didn't eat properly. Could have lost a lot more back then too.

Tried IF. Really doesn't suit my liefestyle but HIIT has always been achievable right when I wake up. With diet, I am just eating in moderation. People say don't eat this don't eat that and its just all crazy. I might as well eat nothing lol if you know what I mean. So I'm just going to eat sensibly. If theres desert I'll still enjoy it but i won't have 5 plates of it for example.

I follow the 25,25,25,25 regimen and since this is a high intensity workout, I found that it worked for my slightly heavy friends in a couple of months. So its 25 - pushups, crunches, leg raises, hip raises (or whatever you want really) for four sets each. Since if you target belly fat, you're essentially targeting the whole body but focusing on core - how stupid would you look with a thin as waist but a chubby thighs and arms? :) It takes about 20-30 minutes for me to finish the whole exercise and with 1 minute breaks in between each set. There are no easy ways to becoming thinner and stronger without taking supplements or whatever.
