like seriously I just looked at my friend's timetable from last year and she had lectures and tutorials back to back straight after one another....how do they expect us to get to lectures or tutorials on time when we have to walk across campus just to get to the lecture theatre not to mention the time it takes to pack up your stuff from the first lecture then quickly move to another lecture....???

usually lectures/tutorials start at about 5-10mins past the hour and finish about 5-10 mins before the next hour. They normally go for 50mins. Chill out! You just have to learn to power walk.

Throwing a book and a pen (plus whatever else may be needed in a tutorial) into your bag isn't that hard, too.
