I'm hoping the 2003 paper was just a freak thing, because I heard that no one at my school finished it. Looking over it, though, most of it wasn't that hard.

I think the hardest 2unit question in all the hsc exams was that snow plough one.

really???? 96/120? i thought it would have been way higher than that! that explains the expectations then... :) i got 104/120 in the 2u trial, and i was happy, but i really thought a band 6 cut off would be higher
Mishka what trial did you do??
I did the Catholic Schools Trial and didn't even pass..
2 people out of 30 passed..lol I don't think our grade is very smart!!

I did a Catholic trial last night...only got 84/120. For the trials, however, I got 107/120. It's evident that the Catholic trials are more difficult.

The chances are that the HSC will be much easier compared to last year's, which was so difficult.

Try doing the kings 2004 paper, that is about 10 times harder than last years 2003 hsc paper.

I've always heard the HSC is easier than the Trial but im not sure u can count on it huh??!
I did pretty well in my Trials considering i did near no study at all..
only failed math and religion & did well compared to others ive spoken to in my other subjects.
Also i do 13 units; Adv English, 2unit Math, Studies of Religion, Biz Studies, Society and Culture, Biology and Information Tech.
Friends have told me a UAI in the 80's in unrealistic.. is it really?!

You can get a UAI in the 90s with any subject combination, just have to do well at them...

In 2U, maybe. But for Ext 1, the HSC papers that I've done are more difficult than the CSSA paper (by a fair bit).
