For me, it wasn't too bad, although some of the listening and the writing screwed me over. :\

Oh well, it's my 12th Unit, and I only did it as an interest, so it really doesn't matter what mark I get.

I am a non-native speaker and German is my 12th unit too and i chose German due to my interest. I agree with you ^
i thought some of the listening questions were a bit hard, because i lacked vocabulary and most of them were 3-4 marks questions. Other than that the comprehensions
were pretty good, i preferred the second reading of reading part A.
But overall found it an achievement by just accomplishing a language for the HSC, which i have not been immersed in yet.
