guys im stressed about one of my essays rn since i did kelp forests and ecosystems
Just know how to respond to an essay on these dotpoints for the Ecosystems and Global Biodiversity unit:

  • The characteristics of the ecosystem, including its spatial pattern and the nature of its biodiversity
  • The dynamics of ecosystem functioning, including vulnerability, resilience and ecological disturbance
  • Human-induced modifications to the ecosystem
  • Responses and strategies, including for maintaining ecosystem functioning and actions for sustainability
  • Differences in ecosystem management, compared with at least one other location, due to economic, political and sociocultural factors
  • The role of contemporary research and innovation in the sustainable management of the ecosystem

real... i feel that is possible.

if nesa really hates us, they will ask the global sustainability topic for an essay
I mean after that maths test we've learned that anything is possible right. Surely they're nice for the first exam though like come on :)

Would be great I don't really wanna do a 20 marker on viticulture lol
Don't worry, the exam specification explicitly states that global sustainability topic (I'm assuming that's what viticulture comes under) will only appear in short answer, and section III and IV will be rural and urban places and ecosystems and global biodiversity

My predictions:

The Short Answer Skills will be a Cross Section OR relate to a geographical investigation

There will be a short answer wanting us to compare one of the EBD depth studies to the same ecosystem in another country. In addition to be there being something on global forums, rural/urban challenges, and indigenous peoples.

Structured Essay will be stimulus and EBD. Possibly tech innovations or responses.

And essay will be compare links between rural and urban, or possibly challenges in a city outside of Aus.
