Heyy,

I'm attempting some questions from the topic Urban places- "global networks" and need help with a question:

what data is often used to support the concept of networks between cities?

thanks a lot.

air-traffic flow is one, can't really remember them, but if you have the MacQuarie guide it's in there under global networks

Apart from air traffic flow which is probably the most obvious manifestation of world city interaction, there's also the movement of labour, skilled personnel, information (email- most common, telephone systems, postal services), capital and goods and services (due to breakdown of trading barriers such as high tariffs) etc within world cities.
