The APEC public holiday is on friday.

Also, it just happens to be the Faculty of IT Non-Teaching Week, and the Faculty of Business APEC Non-Teaching Week.
I've heard this is not the case for Science and Law. Not sure about the other faculties.

Yeah, a couple of my friends are doing Applied Company Law and Tax Law this semester; that's how I found out.

I'll be at uni tomorrow though; have to attend a group meeting.

Very interesting. Funny how postgrad education falls compared to just undergrad.
DAB postgrad is like double salary compared to undergrad though :/



Summer vacation apps suck btw! Doing 1, 2 or even 3 is okay, but when there are like 5 or 6 places to try for, it soaks up so much time! Some good news though; I applied for CommBank with a mediocre application (done the night before apps closed as I just decided to give it a shot) and I scored a phone interview I scheduled on Thursday. I haven't even finished half of most the apps yet and I only have a week to go

Even one takes alot of time! I've applied for the CA Achievers Work Placement; which took close to an accumulated 8 hours to answer the questions. I'm also going to apply for the CPA Work Experience, which is open for the whole of September which I'm happy about. Hopefully I score one of them, because as of right now, I have no backup plan for summer.
Don't worry ragnarok, I'm not competing with you lol =). These ones that aren't for penultimates, but first year business/second year double major students.

adequately prepare students for the level of this subject. These comments have been referred to the

In regards to AIT, they have acted on it indirectly by introducing the new course structure and new subjects (ie. AIT equivalent subject). This should hopefully reduce some of the problems with the current course. I guess for now people who are finishing up with the old course will just have to bear with it

they are both stuffed. uts-wireless doesnt display logon page and upnfit is really slow. anyone having the same problem today?

Some people like the SqurrelMail interface better lol. You could turn off the redirection on your FIT email, and redirect your UTS emails to the FIT one instead.

Yeah.. It looks really similar to Advanced Internet Programming (31424) http://www.handbook.uts.edu.au/subjects/31242.html.

People doing the new major are so lucky =( AIP is an elective for the Internetworking and Applications major only: http://www.handbook.uts.edu.au/directory/maj03445.html. It appears no where else.
