I'm guessing you can just show up, I can't imagine them checking to see if you're registered. That's what I plan on doing anyway since most of the workshops are "full".

It also says to reset your password on the guide to uniwide. At least it does on the laptop version.

lvl 9 library, i was downloading... something.. once... and i got speeds of around 2.5Mbps.
I get speeds of 1Mbps ++ if i download things off the UNSW website.
Other than that its around 300kbbs

partly to do with how much bandwidth the hosting site is capable of, as well as the amount of traffic passing through it at the time.
Its also dependant on how many are using and downloading from uniwide at the same time.

I've read that you can 'enrol-and-drop'. Enrol in whatever random subject to fil the 18 UOC needed then drop after you get ur concession stickar?

I got a download accerator addon with ff3, called download them all, or DownThemAll, its available for all versions of ff i think, and ie too if you are a hideous human being. Definitely speeds up my downloads.
You get 300kbps at uni? I get somewhere between 600-1500kbps at all times from uni, maxx i got was 2500kbps.
At home, without using the accelerator, i got speeds of around 180kbps.
WITH the accelerator i get around 300-450kbps.
Wow, i really thought accelerators were useless.....
If i ever need to download large files im gana download that accelerator thingo.
