it was really good, and the 12 marker was far too easy for a 12 marker so i hope i did well

I found this exam pretty easy... and that's strange considering art is my worst subject, every exam I've struggled with understanding questions and with time.

Q1 - 1page
Q2 - 2 pages
Q3 - 2 1/2 pages
Q9 - 4 pages

I chose Q9 which was like "Postmodern is just a critical display of breaking conventions and rules" Discuss this. Something along those lines. I used Patricia Piccinini, Andy Goldsworthy and Jeffs Coons as my artists (was going to add Yayoi Kusama but didn't have the time).

I'm not sure if that was enough writing for the 1.5 hours... but I did A LOT better than I have done in previous exams so I'm happy

question 8, 5 pages - talked about how artists either define and emphasize their culture or challenge it- with reference to Ancient works, Renaissance -Da vinci, Modern - Duchamp and Picasso, Contemporary - Kruger, Banksy,Kasuma

this exam made me so happy! easiest art exam i've ever done. i will actually go so far as to say that i almost enjoyed it

I waffled on with that question actually, because when they ask you to draw meaning from an artwork, you can bullshit till the cows come home. Doesn't mean what I wrote was correct haha, probably far from.

Also, I did 1pg for Q1, 2pg for Q2 and 3 for Q3 and I chose Q9 and did 9 pages

it seems likely your writing is freaking huge or you waffle on

My writing is pretty huge - about 4-5 words a line.

For question 3 in section 1 ... what area of the frames was it referring to? I thought it meant all of them.. when i got out i asked my class and every had done a different frame to answer it. What frame did you guys figure it out to be?

I focused more on cultural & then structural

Laced a bit of subjective into it

section 2 wrote 2 full booklets on Q8 (3 artist 2 works from each)
