I think Debt Finance is allowed.

You have to DISCUSS. i.e. advantages and disadvantages for your selected one so you can present the argument for any.

So I think debt or equity (external sources) and retained (internal sources) are all valid.
This.

It doesn't mater, you just have to present your argument well to get the marks.

U'd use internal retained profits

Low gearing = Highly solvent, ie has large amounts of funds, and it was to take over smaller chains.

Why would u dilute your firm to get more money when you already have it..

Use equity finance, nice 100raw mark <3
u dun goofed

As long as a presented reasons for and against I should be able to still retain my 100.

How does low gearing mean they have a large amount of funds? Gearing is just a measure of how much long term debt the firm has, not how much equity/retained profits they hold.

Does anyone wish that there was an accelerated business studies subject? I'd personally love it.
My school does it! ^__^ We begin in Year 10 and finish at the end of Year 11, then sit the exam at the beginning of Year 12 (Term 4).

Now they're letting Year 9 start it so they can finish it in Year 10.

You should try talking to your school about it :)

Yea, business studies is one of those subjects which is relatively simple to understand, its pretty much a bit more than yr 9/10 commerce.

I didn't even do commerce in year 9 and 10 and still found business studies easy.
My school didn't do economics so it was my only 'business related' subject I suppose.
Maybe an entrepreneurial cause would be cool, like 1 unit, do a business plan on something as well as a research log. Then maybe a 2 hour exam with more advanced content than BS... Would be lots of fun. If English gets extension, so should some other subjects.

Commerce is not needed at all to go well in business.

Business, eco and most other 2 unit subjects had an extension unit prior to 2001. BOS did a major change of the subjects offered though, such a shame.

All subjects had extension...but i forgot the PM, but he only liked history, therefore only extension history was the only one retained besides the english/maths.

After some thinking...

I'm iffy with B cause it doesn't necessarily lead to development tbh.

But I'm also iffy with C as well because it doesn't necessarily use data.

Well, whatever happens just happens :(
