this game came out today in America and is getting high ratings across most review sites e.g.

IGN - 9.4
Gamespot - 9.6

it comes out on the 23rd here but there are rumours that this game is region free so it can be imported but its not confirmed yet.

The game looks awesome, can't wait till it comes out, i really like the cover system, now you can't just "run and gun", making it more interesting.

It is a shooting kind of game, more based around espionage action and stealthy gameplay. It's in third person as well, you should look up some gameplay videos on youtube. Good for co-op and online gaming, but also a game that delivers a solid single player campaign.

If you're willing to wait a year or so, this game will definitly become one of the 360's "classic" games (a range which has yet to be established) but from the hype that's been swirling it seems to be "the" 360 game to get at the moment.

Well sure it does follow a set narrative complete with plot and linear gameplay, but it does have the ability to serve as a pick up and play title because of it's impressive split-screen capabilities. Co-op with a friend on a good FPS in front of the TV split screen style I can say holds some of my fondest memories in gaming, one that would get you more involved in comparison with a pick up and play game of soccer. Or you could also make things competitive and compete against your friend in deathmatch-type games, so already there's good "pick up and play whenever" kind of value to it.

The gameplay shouldn't be too hard to pick up once you've learnt the basic mechanisms of the game, but hey, it all comes down to preference and what kind of games you like. I myself am looking forward to playing this

ive played this game for about 3 hours in total 2 weeks ago. it's fantastic. just soooooooo amazing. then my 360 broke :( looking forward to getting it back tomorrow.

also, placebo, the asian version isn't region free, so if its shipping from singapore you could be pwned :(

Also, for region-free gaymes check out: http://www.play-asia.com/SOap-23-83-3f7l-71-bn-49-en-84-k-40-extended.html

(use that link to order if you can, as it'll get me affil credit. plus i could prob give you a $5 off coupon [for orders over $50US])

You can get them for about AU$50-60 incl post for most titles.

Click on/search for the titles and scroll down to see which ones are region-free. For instance, splinter cell: Double agent is region-free and costs $44.90US (AU$58) :)

haha, no :p it can easily handle it. it's just a coincidence. mine actually broke during a game of NCAA football 07.

And I don't understand how you could've gotten an asian version, as that only works on NTSC-J xboxes. The NTSC-U/C version, however, will work on PAL xboxes

Yes... absolutely horrible. Terrible graphics. Terrible gameplay. It doesn't even run properly on my Pentium 5 8GhZ processor :(
