I was offered a full fee place in Commerce at Melb Uni. Apparently you need a 75% average during the first year to be automatically transferred to a CSP place.

Considering my enter was 94.75, is this a realistic possibility?

Family will help me with the first year fee, but not 2nd + 3rd year.

once you enter uni, your ter/UAI is relatively useless as uni is a whole lot different to high school. A distinction average isnt impossible to maintain provided you work consistently and turn up to lectures. This might be easier said than done, but if you follow those simple guidelines, youre well on your way to achieving your goal.

Thanks for the replies.

I've also been offered a CSP place in commerce at Monash but it is quite hard for me to get to Monash compared to Melbourne.

Would I be better off to do a year at Monash than apply to transfer to Melbourne CSP or just go into Melbourne full fee and work hard for the distinction average?

either way you have to get a D-average.

so, why not try Melbourne CSP for a yr. If you really did stuffed up, try transfer into DFEE Monash again?

(I am assuming Monash allow DFEE transfers..)
