well iv done my half yearlies 85-89% were my subjects

2 unit maths

how ever iv fukd up in english and got 60%

does this really screw up my uai? and how can i do better?
plus do they take into consideration my school is 2 language school not just english?

Well then if you continue getting 60s in Standard English, then theres a major problem. It will cripple your UAI quite a bit.

And out of curiosity, when you say 2U maths, you mean Advanced Maths dun you, not General Maths...

Is it actually called, Advanced Maths. I thought that was only for the new syllabus which is not yet out?

Well it should actually be called just Maths, but by saying TWO UNIT maths, its vague cuz it can be the real Maths or it can be Gen Maths (which is also 2 units).

Yes I know that. But I noticed lots of people on this site are not calling it advanced maths, but i didn't even think that terminology has been implemented yet.

Yea ppl call it advanced maths to prevent confusion. Cuz Maths 2U is seriously getting vague due to all the ppl trying to pass Gen Maths as 2U maths.
