They do for a couple weeks. COVID might mean that some go in for term 4 too

If formal gets cancelled next year I’ll be happy, I’ll have an excuse not to come without my friends getting mad at me.

aww that sucks! how come you guys can't do it after hsc, didn't the govt put out a thing saying schools can do grad/formal after nov 12th? (assuming ur in NSW)

Year 12s go to school until the end of term 3 after trials, and then the first week of term 4. But some school like a lot of selective schools let their students study in term 4 independently.

My formal is still unsure but currently its possible we'll have it after HSC in term 4 since its student organised
