Well I was doing really well in commerce for year 9, and I was offered a chance to accelerate in business along with 20 or so other kids. Back then, I had almost no idea about scaling for Business, so I just thought 'meh, why not?'
Then again, I'm thinking of pursuing a career in finance, so hopefully Business will help me a bit in the future - anything goes I guess.
It's an alright subject though - marks are easy to get, yet equally as easy to lose. A few expectations of 90+ for assessments went down the drain after a spate of silly mistakes, so I'm just hoping I can salvage a band 6 in my HSC. I'm probably not going to count it anyway. Oh well =/.

I had no idea why I chose it, I don't know why I haven't dropped it...
All in all though, it's extremely useful knowledge to have, despite the crap scaling. You can get into uni many other ways, and, unless you plan to do Business at uni, I'd advise you to do it just for the applicable knowledge it grants.
