whats the best romantic movie? (sometimes known as the chick flick) let me know what you reckon. i'll start it off..

the note book
love actually
notting hill
the holiday...etc etc.

("romance" is up to personal choice, but i reckon house of flying daggers is quite romantic.)

I like the part where the girl goes to a blindate and sees "him"

it's soooooooo romantic

I wonder if that makes people believe "omg it might happen to me"

or "er..this is hardly going to happen irl..that's why we enjoy these scenes so much! it's like a dream.."

Hahah my favourite is still Sweet November....

Taiyou no Uta

Comes in the form of a series and a movie (both are Japanese). The series is probably slightly more romanic. Shit it's so sad though.

Nah, been to lazy to goto the Asian supermarket near here. Might go tomorrow. Actually that reminds me of early last year, I used to always go in this one asian supermarket to always buy this Japanese candy stuff and the lady was like "why you always come here? you not asian, but it's ok you nice boy". Cool lady, she still works there.

And on topic.. I've seen My Sassy Girl too lol.

sunrise (f.w. murnau, 1927) - MOST ROMANTIC MOVIE EVER. PERIOD. it's the one that brad pitt watched at the end of interview with the vampire, just to hip you kids to it.

and lost in translation and punch-drunk love, as far as movies that people here have probably seen go.

I think it's very romantic. I like the idea of someone finding a person who has quirks that fit their own. :shy:
