You shouldn't just ask for guys opinions because girls can be helpful too. This is neither of your faults, I have heard this happen a lot and frequently talked about in L&R. Its not that you're big, or that you guys will never get there, she is probably in pain and is finding it hard to relax and the more it hurts the more she tenses up and so it gets worse and most likely you both get frustrated.
